OUR STORY

How it all started...

In September of 2008, Orchard Christian Fellowship began with a group of people eager to follow Jesus. We did it without having a permanent building. It was a leap of faith and a new chapter in the story of the Gospel in Londonderry, New Hampshire. Our purpose is to Love God, Love People and Live God's Message. Practically, that means that we help one another grow in faith, encourage acts of service inside and outside the fellowship, and share our faith with those people who are uncertain regarding what it really means to be a Christian. We think this purpose is one of the reasons why our fellowship has so many members active in ministries that serve families in need, children in foster care, single moms, the elderly, and our neighbors in the Londonderry community. Our fellowship knows that faith doesn't end with Sunday morning worship. It's a way of life you live every day.
Our pastor is Rev. Ken Glasier. His preaching style combines subtlety and reflection with humor and candor. His sermons are not "pie in the sky" lectures but, instead, they're talks that speak to people in their every day lives with all of life's conflicts, confusions, hopes, and surprises. Ken has served in a variety of roles during his career in ministry including associate and senior pastorates. Additionally, he has worked in hurricane restoration, missionary work with medical clinics, and construction projects. He has also ministered in Mississippi as well as the countries of Mexico, Belize, Guatemala, India, Macedonia and Bangladesh.
